Russian Athletes Team Forming Group gathered for the meeting on Monday and chose Saransk the place of athletes training. RIA Info-RM got the information from Viktor Tchegin, Russian Walkers Team chief trainer.

The decision was conditioned on the fact that Saransk meets all the requirements of athletes training. Viktor Tchegin is sure that after the Grand Price final that took place in Saransk in September, 29, Sarank reputation became much better.

Russian Athletes Team mostly comprises of Mordovian sportsmen. Among 9 race walkers in the team 6 are from Mordovia.

According to Viktor Tchegin the team will be formed after two selecting contests that is Worlds Cup that takes place on May, 11 in Tcheboksari and Russian Championship that takes place in Saransk on June, 8.
